How do you download and install Bliss OS on a Windows PC?
- First, you need to download BlissOS Android For PC from the link below.
- Create a Bootable USB drive from this.
- For this method, you need Etcher / Rufus and the BlissOS ISO file. We recommend using a decent-speed USB drive (8GB or larger).
- To flash BlissOS to the USB drive, plug it into your computer and launch Etcher / Rufus. Now select the BlissOS iso file and create the bootable USB.
- Note: Please be careful with the steps below and back up your data if you’re unsure what you’re doing.
- First, installing BlissOS on your HDD/SSD/SDcard creates a new partition for BlissOS (the suggested minimum size is 16GB ).
- Turn off your device’s secure boot, then boot up the BlissOS USB by pressing the ESC or F12 key, depending on your BIOS menu, and select the BlissOS USB as the boot source.
- Select the ‘Install BlissOS’ option from the GRUB menu.
- The installer will load, and you will have the option to choose which partition you created earlier. Choose it, and select Ext4 to format the drive.
- When prompted to install the System as R/W (Read/Write), select YES; otherwise, the OTA functionality will break.
- When prompted to install Grub, select YES.
- When finished, the installer will ask if you want to run BlissOS. You can reboot here, and make sure you remove the USB drive.
